He leaves to cherish his loving memory a very devoted mother, Minnie Cleo George ; 3 daughters and son in law, Kim (James) Marable, Dickson, Tenn., Karla George , Runnemede, NJ, Marteace George , Huntsville, Ala.; 3 stepsons and daughter in law, Michael Carlton and Kelvin George New York City, Mario (Sheila) George , Alcoa; 2 grandsons, Aundrae George , Park Forest, Ill., Edmond Pye, Knoxville, Tenn.; 2 granddaughters, Serita Pye, Dickson, Tenn., Kenya Pye, Alcoa, Tenn.; several step grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, Karla, Malik, Deja and Krishawanna; 2 nieces, Pat and Brenda George ; 2 aunts, Edith Tate and Viola Dowdle; sister in law, Ethel George . Home going services will be held Monday Feb. 26, 2001 at 3 p.m. at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Alcoa with Dr. Cordell Simpson officiating. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
