Doris June Bartlett, 67, of Greenback, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a retired teacher for Douglas Cherokee Headstart and an organist for Kagleys Chapel Baptist Church for around eight years. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Tindell; parents, Doyle and Ella Mae Robinson Atchley; brother, Willard Atchley; and sister, Wilma Ford. She is survived by husband of 35 years, Phillip Bartlett; son, Jimmy Tindell; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Sheri Bartlett; stepson and wife, Jason and Kellie Bartlett; and grandchildren, Chris, Tamera, Michael, Matt, Katey, and Karalyn Bartlett. Six Mile Road, with Rev. Clifton Hearon and Rev. Darrell Millsaps officiating. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
