Fords’ 49th Lennis and Edna (Hunt) Ford, of Maryville, will celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 29 at the Life Event Center on Smithview Drive. Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple were married Dec. 30, 1963, at the parsonage at Logan’s Chapel Church. The Rev. Gerald McFarland officiated. Their family includes children Kay and Kevin Gibson, of Maryville, and Jason Ford and Barbara Van Gennep, of Knoxville. They have five grandchildren, Gabe Ford, Anna Grace Ford, Sam Ford, Caleb Gibson and Cole Gibson. Mr. Ford worked at Creswell Office Supply for 34 years and retired from AW Office Supply in 2007. Mrs. Ford retired from MorningView Senior Village in September. They are long-time members of Faith Baptist Church.
