Leonard "Jack" Poe, age 80, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died Thursday, May 27, 2010, at his home.
He was born July 27, 1929 in Dandridge, TN, a son of Pearl and Dora Lane Poe.
He was reared and received his education in Dandridge.
Mr. Poe served in the United States Army with the 101st Airborne "Screaming Eagles."
He had worked at Chief Pontiac for 28 years as a service manager, later retiring from Smart Chevrolet.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Dessie Imojean Slagle Poe and his second wife Elizabeth Ann Ives Poe, who he married on November 26, 1977, in Pine Bluff; parents, and a brother Robert Poe.
Survivors include two sons David "Dado" Poe (Michelle) of the Hardin Community and Johnny Poe (Sheila) of Cosby, TN; a daughter Patricia Poe of Pine Bluff; brothers Bill Poe and Paul Poe; and a sister Bea Morris, all of Newport, TN; and three granddaughters.
Visitation was on Monday, May 31, 2010 at Robinson's.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, in the chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Reverend Jimmy Herring, Jr. officiating.
Burial will follow in the Hardin Cemetery.
The family will be located at #9 East Millaway, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
