Buhler, of Knoxville, formally of Passaic, NJ and Cape Cod, MA, passed away peaceful on December 18, 2012 at UT Medical Center. While residing in Tennessee. he faithfully attended First Baptist Church in Seymour, and was a member of the Liberty Sunday School Class. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII; participating in the D-Day invasion and throughout the European campaign. Proceeded in death by parents, George and Lauretta Buhler, his first wife Swaney, step-daughter, Dolores Olexsak, and brothers Fred and Eugene Buhler. Survived by wife: Hester Step-son: Walter Anen and wife Jane Brother: George Buhler Grandchildren: John and Kimbrough Anen of Knoxville Danielle, Jennifer and Andrew Olexsak of NJ, Patricia Zoyes of FL Five great grandchildren Funeral service 7 PM Thursday in Atchley's Seymour Chapel with Dr. Bruce Yates and Rev. Merwyn Borders officiating. Interment 1:30 PM Friday in Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy.
