Bonnie Kate Ramsey, age 85, of Hartford, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Baptist Convalescent Center. She was a faithful member of Pigeon Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Ben Ramsey; parents Harrison and Fannie Barnes; grandson, Mike Lewis; sisters, Wanda Dorsey and Ernestine Burns; brothers, W. C., Ed, Cecil Barnes and Clifford Barnes. She is survived by her son, Joe Ramsey of Parrottsville; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Houston Lewis Knoxville; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Debbie Barnes of Maryville; sister, Barbara Hyatt of Newport; grandchildren, Dusti Webb, Jeff Lewis and wife Lindsey, Sherry Blake and Husband Kenny, Richard Ramsey and wife Robin; great grandchildren, Leyton Lewis, Tristian Ramsey, and Scarlette Ramsey; sisters-in-law, Dot and Velma Barnes; brother-in-law, Ralph Dorsey; several nieces, nephews and a host of other special family and friends. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Ransom Hall officiating. Burial will be 2:00 pm Sunday May 1, 2011 in Barnes Family Cemetery, Hartford, TN. The family will recieve friends from 5-7 pm Saturday at Manes Funeral Home priorm to the funeral service.
