SCOTT , ELIZABETH SUE HENERSON - age 60, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning, November 7, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Reverend Bobby Scott , State Evangelism and Home Missions Director for the Church of God in Tennessee; two sons and daughters-in-law, David Allen and Donna Scott of Cleveland, Tennessee, and Reverend Bobby G., Jr. and Holly Scott of Shelbyville, Tennessee; grandsons, Jonah Wyatt and Jonathan David Scott , also of Shelbyville; parents, Clarence and Bertha Henderson of Sevierville, Tennessee; sister, Velda Price of Chattanooga; brothers, Clarence Henderson , Jr., Marvin Lee Henderson of Sevierville, Tennessee, and Reverend Dwight L. Henderson of Chattanooga, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was of the Church of God faith and was currently serving as the State Women's Evangelism Director at the Church of God Executive Offices. Bobby and Sue Scott were given the distinctive honor of being selected twice for this ministry. She served with her husband in pastoral ministry for 40 years in the following Churches of God: Pigeon Forge, McCowans Creek, Memphis-Frazier, Mowbray, Middle Valley, Dayton and Spring Creek. The family will receive friends at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, Highway 153, Hixson, Tennessee, from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 8. Funeral services will be held at the Daisy Church of God on Friday, November 9, at 2 p.m. The body will lie in state two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Highway 153, Hixson, Tennessee. Officiating ministers will be Dr. Walter P. Atkinson, Reverend Raymond Hodge, and Rev. Terry Hart.
