Carolyn Freeman Cook, age 76, of Grassy Fork, passed away, Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Physicians Regional Medical Center. She attended Mt Zion Baptist Church in Grassy Fork. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Cook Davis; parents, B. R. and Flora Freeman; brother, John Ruben Freeman; sister, Pauline (Don) Leatherwood; and mother –in-law, Helen Cook. She is survived by her husband Tony Cook; granddaughter, Preanna Davis; father-in-law, Wayne Cook; nieces, Vida (Hoover) Williamson; great niece, Carrisa (Josh) Seay; great-great nieces, Alexa Street and Avery Mae Seay; special nephew, Dennis Buchanan and Melinda; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tommy and Sheila Davis; Karen Ellison and Kyla Ricker; also a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Randall Freeman and Rev. Tinker Clark officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Black’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday prior to funeral service. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with final expenses. Family and friends may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.com. Manes Funeral Home in charge.
