March 2, 1963 - September 13, 2013 Gary Mitchell Whaley, age 50, a resident of Cleveland passed away Friday morning in a Chattanooga Hospital. He was the son of the late Betty Jo Centers Whaley and Bobby Cleve Whaley. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Billy Centers. He was a lifelong truck driver. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his daughter, Brittany Lemons of Cleveland, brothers, Randall Whaley and Cleve Whaley Jr. sisters, Brenda Brewer and Connie Stevenson all of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 22, 2013 from 4 until 6 at South View Baptist Church. Jim Rush Funeral Homes, Wildwood Avenue Chapel is in charge of the cremation services.
