She was a member of Rockford Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Brewer father, Andrew M. Whitener mother, Viola Kirkland half-sister, Margaret Ann Kirkland. Survivors: brother, Bobby Gene Whitener of Madisonville half-sisters and spouse, Mary M. & John Cummings of Rockford, Judy McFalls of NC, Cathy Frye and Patricia Curry, both of SC half-brothers & spouses, Mack & Sherry Kirkland of Rockford, James & Teresa Kirkland of Oak Ridge, Marcus Whitener, Allen Whitener, and David Whitener, all of SC several nieces and nephews. Funeral services at 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2003 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Reverend Jackie Midkiff officiating. Family & friends will meet at Williamson Chapel Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Friday morning for the interment service.
