Born on February 25, 1927, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late John C. and Mary Andollina Bordes, Epi married Celeste Wilson Bordes on February 8, 1948. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was cherished by his family and will be dearly missed. Epi was a member of the American Legion for 61 years. His survivors include his: daughters, Peggy A. Kelly, Renée B. Huskey; son-in-law, Richard Kelly; grandchildren, Christine Cappadona and husband P.J., Gabriel Bordes, Brendan Kelly and wife, Mollie, Mariah Farmer and husband Andrew, Christopher Kelly; 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2012, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Joseph Brando officiating.
