Survivors: sisters, Mattie Sue Whitson, Corryton, Evelyn Maynard, Vola Lawson and Pearl Garren all of Knoxville; brothers, Bleve Elkins, Rogersville, Tenn., and Wade Elkins, Mooresburg, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet 1:45 p.m. Sunday at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 2 p.m. graveside service and interment, Rev. Charles V. Whitson officiating.
