Ellen Louise Parrigon, 68, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010, in a local health care facility.
She was born Aug. 5, 1941 in Pikeville, Tenn. to the late Bazz and Nola Walling Manery. Ellen was a precious woman and for many years, she worked as a C.N.A. and really loved caring for the elderly.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parrigon was preceded in death by her sisters, Audrey Patton and Anna Louise Williams; brothers, Arthur and Arles Manery; and former husband, James Lee Brewer .
Survivors include her husband, Alan F. Parrigon; sisters, Viola (James) Goins, of Chattanooga, Dot (Pat) Massengale, of Rossville, and Linda (Clarence) Seals, LaFayette, Ga.; brothers, Johnny (Wanda) Manery, Ringgold, Ernest (Sherry) Manery, Rockmart, Ga.; children, Lisa Bridges, Shelby, N.C., Lee and Don Bridges, Pickens, S.C., and Jimmy Bridges, Jacksonville, Fla.; one grandson, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Minister Chris Spears officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
