Alton W. Connatser, 85, of Maryville, passed away Saturday morning, June 5, at the home of his daughter in Cosby.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by parents, O.W. and Florence Mize Connatser.
Survivors: daughter, Sandra Gale Connatser of Cosby; grandchildren, Tami Morrow of Texas, Stacey Strain of Arkansas, and Tonia Royse of Cosby; great-grandchildren, Sandra Gail II, Jesse Setzer, and Zachary Howard; brothers, Fred Connatser of Maryland, Roy Connatser of Louisville, and Ernest Connatser of Maryville; sister, Ola Mae Self of Louisville; stepbrothers, Paul Connatser of Greenback, Owen Connatser of Florida, and Lemuel Connatser of Georgia; stepsisters, Una Faye Connatser of Maryville, Rubye Connatser of Virginia, and Laura Anne Connatser of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will meet at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Sevier County at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, for graveside service and interment. Rev. Robert Green of Cosby will ofÞciate.
Friends called at their convenience from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday and again from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home in Maryville.
