Masil Hembree, of Cosby, born July 3, 1931, passed away on Thursday June 7, 2007 at her home with where she lived with her brother Ralph Hembree. She was employed as a housekeeper at Royal Townhouse in Gatlinburg for several years. She was preceded in death by her parents William “Bill” Hembree and Rebecca Jenkins Hembree. Brothers, Bobby “Pig” Hembree, Y.J. Hembree and wife Velma Hembree, and brother-in-law Fred Price. She is survived by her daughter Sue and her husband Timmy Jenkins, son Tim Hembree, Brother Ralph Hembree, Sister Millie Price. Granddaughters Porsha, Rachel, and Elizabeth Hembree, Samantha Jenkins and Grandson Dillion Jenkins. Special friends Vivian and Jane Barnes of Cosby. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Rex Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Phillips-Hembree Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 pm until 9 pm Friday, June 8, 2007 at the Manes Funeral Home.
