(December 2, 1928 - September 21, 2008) U.S. Veteran Herbert “Hub” Ross Hutson, age 79, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Meadowbrook Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Raymond and Rebecca Lavada Hutson; sisters, Frances Pauline Hall and Gladys Marie Garren Sturdivant; brothers, Thomas Raymond Hutson Jr. and James Harold Hutson. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sue Hutson; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Terry McCollom of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Don and Cindy Hutson of Knoxville; grandchildren, Nathan McCollom, Eric McCollom, Brett McCollom, Kristen Hutson, and Mike Hutson; brothers, William Robert Hutson of Maryville and Kenneth Delozier Hutson of Marietta, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Judy, Bobby and Susan of Blount Memorial Home Healthcare, and Dr. Richard Cline and Dr. John Pittenger. Funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Timothy Kimsey officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Townsend, Pallbearers, Don Hutson, Terry McCollom, Mike Hutson, Nathan McCollom, Eric McCollom, and Brett McCollom; Honorary Pallbearers, Charles Garren, Ron Garren, Larry Hutson, Frank Sturdivant, Jim Sturdivant, Shug Hutson, Mike Hutson, Bob Hutson, and Phil Blackburn.
