He was born November 30, 1909, in Collin County, Texas to J.R. and Delilah (Williams) Lindsey . On January 15, 1933, he married Pauline Cate in Collin County. Mr. Lindsey was a barber, farmer and a livestock inspector. He worked for the Texas Animal Health Commission and Farmers Home Administration. He was also a member of Waddill Street Baptist Church in McKinney. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Cate Lindsey of McKinney; son, Orville C. Lindsey and wife, Trena of Throckmorton, Texas; grandsons, Bradley Rex Lindsey and Kelly Mark Lindsey ; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Troy Lindsey . He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; one sister; and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 30, 2003, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be held from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Saturday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
