He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired from Charles Blalock & Sons. Preceded in death by parents, Robert, Sr. and Mary Houser Holsenback. Survived by daughter, Marlene Holsenback; son, Robert Brian Holsenback; grandchildren Joshua and Chelsea; life companion, Melita Hannam and children, Doug Mikels, Terry Mikels, Brittany Hannam; brother, James (Mabel) Holsenback; sister, Barbara (John) Fisher; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will meet 1:45 pm Friday at Fort Sumter Cemetery for 2:00 pm graveside service.
