STALSWORTH , GLADYS LORENA CARMON - born March 9, 1913, died Thursday May 10, 2001. She was a charter member of Central United Methodist Church and the Married Couples Sunday School class. Mrs. Stalsworth had served on the staff of the YMCA. The widow of Jack D. Stalsworth , she is survived by her daughters, Nancy Stalsworth Hopkins and husband, Tom of Maynardville and Linda Stalsworth Honea of Knoxville; grandchildren, Aaron & Andy Hale, Tommy Hopkins all of Knoxville and Blaine Honea of Colo.; sister, Eva Grimm of Sevierville. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of St. Mary's Home Health Care and especially, nurses, Mary & Leah and nurses aide, Pat. Family & friends will meet Mon. at the main entrance to Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 10 a.m. graveside service with Mr. Don Akers officiating. Members of the Married Couples Sunday school class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church, 201 Third Ave., Knoxville, Tenn. 37917. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
