He was a member of Bungalow United Methodist Church, was retired from TVA after 24 years of service, he served in the U.S. Army with Company B 138th Engineer Combat BN during World War II, he was a member of the Masonic-Masters 244 and member of Scottish Rite 32 Degree Mason. Survivors include: Francis Coffman of Alcoa; daughter, Pat Hagaman of Knoxville; granddaughters, Angela Miller of Knoxville, Amy Blankenship of Maryville; stepchildren, Linda Carter of St. Charles, Mo., and Carol Ezell of Pensacola, Fla., Bobby Thompson of Maryville, Deloris Hagaman of Knoxville; grandchildren, Robin Williams, Kim Williams, both of Maryville; several other grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; uncle, Lee Coffman of Rossville, Ga.; two nephews and a niece. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thur. in McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Bennett and Rev. Jerry Scott officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11 a.m. Fri. at Magnolia Cemetery for the interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Thur. at McCammon-Ammons Funeral Home, Maryville.
