Betty R. Mills, age 78 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at Blount Memorial Transitional Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Mill, Jr.; daughters, Robin Gillespie and Kathy Waddell; grandson, Scott Caldwell; parents, Willard Sr. and Hazel King; brothers, Don and Willard King; sisters, Dorothy Loveless, Willadean Quagliana, Delores Frazier and Evelyn Jones.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Virgil Adams; sons and daughters-in-law, Phillip and Tara Gillespie and Todd and Tiffany Gillespie; grandchildren, Rob Caldwell, Justin and Josh Gillespie and best buddy, Lacey Gillespie; sister, Joyce Hunt; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home and then proceed to Grandview Cemetery for a 2:30 p.m. graveside service with Rev. Rex Everett officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, attn: Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
