RAMSEY , ( TOMMY ) DEAN age 67, of Rutledge, passed away December 8, 2007 at Baptist Hospital in Knoxville. He was of the Baptist faith, was a veteran of the United States Army, and retired from M K Ferguson in Oak Ridge. He was preceded in death by his father, Hobert Ramsey and brother, Sam Ramsey . Survivors include his wife, Hazel Ramsey ; son, Jock Ramsey ; daughter, Julie Ramsey ; mother, Zulla Ramsey ; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille and Bobby Swiney, Myrtle and Jim Roberts, Christine Hodge; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Linda Ramsey , Bobby and Vivian Ramsey , Mary Ethel Evans, all of Rutledge, and Wayne and JoAnn Ramsey of Ten Mile; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007, 8:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mayes Mortuary in Morristown, with Rev. Gary Satterfield officiating. Graveside services will be Wednesday, 2:00 P.M. at Indian Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. prior to services at Mayes Mortuary in Morristown. The family wishes to thank East Tennessee Cancer Specialists, and the nursing staff on the 7th floor of Baptist Hospital. Mayes Mortuary of Morristown in charge of arrangements.
