William (Bill) Myers, 51, of Newport, passed away suddenly Sunday at his residence.
He was employed by Catawba Shell for over ten years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Zelma Myers; and his sister, Dolly Banks.
He is survived by his sisters, Evelyn O’Neil of Newport and Juanita Leonard of Sewell, New Jersey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and John Price of Millville, New Jersey, and Betty and Ronnie Price of White Pine; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Jo Myers of Clayton, New Jersey; cousin, Wilbur Mathes of Newport; great-nephew, Jonathan Gossett of Newport; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Service will be Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at Brown Chapel with Rev. Mike Footen officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday morning at Resthaven Cemetery.
Brown Funeral Home is in charge.
