Buford Dwight Taylor, 62, of 3239 Melody Lane, White Pine, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 23, after suffering a heart attack.
He was a former employee of the Kroehler Manufacturing Co. and Bayliner Corp.
He was a son of the late William and Clara Lane Taylor. He was also preceded in death by brother and sisters, Harold Taylor, Agnes Arrington, Joyce Hance, and Lillian Hannon.
Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Serita and Dwayne Campbell, Stephanie and Barry Carter and Shannon and Tracey Taylor, all of White Pine; grandsons, Ryan Taylor and Rhett Campbell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Billy Carl Arrington and Peggy and Bud Carver, all of Newport; brother and sister-in-law, Willard and Mary Taylor of Newport; half-brother, Bill Lane of Knoxville; former wife, Doris Taylor of White Pine; and several other friends and relatives.
Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Sunday, October 24, at Farrar’s White Pine Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Richey ofÞciating. Interment was Monday in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday prior to services.
The family will be at the home of Doris Taylor on Christopher Lane in White Pine.
Farrar Funeral Home, White Pine, was in charge of arrangements.
