Roy “Bobby” Edward Sandifur, age 51, passed away September 7, 2012, at his home in Strawberry Plains, after a battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Bernard Goins. He is survived by his father, Farris; and stepmother, Ruby Sandifur of Friendsville; and stepsister, Robin Harrill of Maryville. The family will receive friends in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home in Morristown, Tenn., from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2012, with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m., with the Reverend Dexter Jordan officiating. Family and friends will meet 11 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012, at Bernard Family Cemetery in Blaine, Tenn., for the graveside service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
