Lillian Val Maples, 91, of Pigeon Forge, died Tuesday, April 11, 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents Lawson and Mary Maples; two sisters and four brothers. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Sevierville. Survivors include sisters, Kate Cole of Sevierville, Maude Millard of Michigan, Ruth Goodie of California, Delle Mahnke of Pigeon Forge, Betty Pitsenberger of Pennsylvania and Jean Baker of Pigeon Forge and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service was Thursday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Wells and the Rev. Bill Maples officiating. Interment is 11 a.m. Friday in Shiloh Cemetery.
