(December 10, 1953 - June 23, 2016) JoAnn Williams, loving mother and grandmother, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, June 23, 2016. JoAnn will always be remembered for her kindness to everyone she met. She not only was a mother to her own children, but to any child who walked through the door. She never turned anyone away. She was a light to anyone who knew her. JoAnn was a member of Carson Springs Baptist Church. JoAnn was preceded in death by her loving husband, Randy C. Williams; sister, Donna Hance; grandson, Dolphas Stuart; and niece, Doris Henderson. She is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Steve) Allen of Newport and Michelle Stuart of Dandridge; sons, Jason Williams of Newport and Rodney (Mandee) Williams of Dandridge; sisters, Ethel Green and Sarah Crumbley of Newport; brothers, Fred Curtis Green, Lawrence (Linda) all of Newport, and Curt (Felinda) Ford of California; grandchildren, Maliyah (Mimi) Massengill, Alyssa Williams of Newport, Amber (Matt) Taylor, Stephanie (Tommy) Miracle, Clay, and Sonya Stuart all of Dandridge; host of nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren; special friends Billy Massengill, Dewey Talton, Gary Hance, Joyce Ball, Georgia Barnes, and Leslie Cox Wright; special nieces and nephews, Shannon Green, Holly Leatherwood, and Melissa Kelley. Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm Sunday, June 26, 2016 in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Johnson and Pastor Roger Whaley officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm on Sunday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service.
