Sarah Sue Crumbley, age 75, of Newport, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 at her home. She was a member of Carson Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruby Green; sisters, Donna Marie Hance and JoAnn Williams. She is survived by her brothers, Lawrence Green, Fred Curtis Green both of Newport; Curtiss Ford of Pinon Hills, California; sisters, Ethel Mae Green of Newport; long-time sweetheart, Dewey Talton of Newport; friends, Inez and Earl Phillips, Barbara Christman, Sue Mills, Patty and David Woodbury; many special nieces, nephews, many neighbors, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 13, 2017 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Shelton and Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Special “Thank you” to Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice. Burial will be held 2:30 pm, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral service. Family and friends may sign the guest register on line at www.manesfuneralhome.com.
