OGLE , MAX E. age 77 of Knoxville , passed away Wednesday , July 25, 2012. Max retired as supervisor from South Central Bell in 1991 after 39 years of service. He was a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and a member of the church choir and the Joy Makers Choir at Central Baptist Church of Fountain City, and a volunteer for Mission Of Hope. He is preceded in death by his father, Hobart H. Ogle, Sr., and mother, Julia Maples Ogle, and brother, Hobart H. Ogle Jr. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Janet G. Ogle, and children: Cheryl Riley and husband John and their children Mark (Jennifer) Riley, Dr. Melissa (Peter) Nossal, Michael (Hannah) Riley, Michelle and Megan Riley; Alan Ogle and his wife Terri and their children, Dr. Jacob (Casey) Ogle, Rachel Laney, Aaron (Shelby) Ogle, Rebecca (Matthu) Osborn, Christian and Isaiah Ogle; Marie Russell and her husband Mike and their children Ryan and Courtney and great grand children Brayden Riley and Elan Ogle; brothers, Carroll (Sheila) Ogle of Cary, NC, Earl (Jan) Ogle of Sun City West, AZ; and, sister Alma Sue Vandegriff of Henderson, TX; and several nieces and nephews. Max will be remembered for his service to others, his devotion to his family and his wonderful singing voice. Visitation for Max will be held Sunday July 29, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church with a service to follow at 5:00 p.m. with the Rev. Ron Mouser officiating. Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be made to the Mission of Hope.
