MOUNT EATON -- Onnie B. Buckner, 72, of Mount Eaton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, at Manor Care in Parma. She was born Aug. 6, 1936, in Bybee, Tenn., to Bertho and Selma (Holt) Legg and married Leonard Buckner. He survives. Surviving in addition to her husband of 56 years, are a daughter, Diane (Joseph) Kashien of Middleburg Heights; grandchildren, Kelly (Bobby), Cheron (Mike) and Matt; great-grandchildren, Breanna and Shane; sisters, Trula (Chan) Clevenger of White Pine, Tenn., and Loretta (Linton) Buckner of Brook Park; and brothers, Charles (Betty) Legg of Shreve and Harold (Joanie) Legg of Avon. She was preceded in death by a brother, Carol. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Spidell Funeral Home in Mount Eaton, with Pastor Glenn Coblentz officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Mount Eaton. Friends may call Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Online guest registration and condolences may be left at www.spidellfuneralhome.com.
