Rosa Lee Brady, age 87, of The Heritage Center, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 13, 2012.
She was a member of Morristown Baptist Tabernacle.
She was preceded in death by her husband J. C. Brady, parents Robert Sterling and Mary Louiza Long, and brothers and sisters-in-law Joe and Edna Long and Floyd and Helen Long.
She is survived by her children: daughters Brenda Brady and Patricia (Andy) Stinnett; and sons Robert Wayne (Vickie) Brady, Gary (Carol) Brady of Alabama, James Edward (Vickie) Brady, Steve Michael Brady, Randy Brady of Mooresburg, and William Sterling Brady of Morristown; grandchildren Michael Brady, John and Rob Brady of Knoxville, Richard and Phillip Brady of Alabama, Lynn and Todd Ayers of Morristown, Jason and Lindsey Stinnett of Newport, Josh and Zack Brady of Mooresburg; great-grandchildren Dustin and Travis Brady of Morristown and Daisy Brady of Knoxville; special friends Delane Brady and Lisa Maxwell; and a special thanks to the nursing staff of Heritage Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2012, in the chapel of Mayes Family Services, Downtown with Rev. Geary Miller officiating. Receiving of friends and family was held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home. A graveside service was held Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
