Albert T. "Big Pap" Calfee, age 82, of Mariner Health Care of Newport, passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006 at the Baptist Hospital of Cocke County. Preceded in death by parents, Howard and Bernice Calfee; sisters, Lorene Campbell and Audrey Fowler. He was a retired employee of American Enka with 30 years service, a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church, and a 50 year member of Leadvale Lodge # 390 F. & A.M. "Big Pap" enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends, and gardening. Survived by wife, Mabel Hurley Calfee of White Pine; son, Michael "Mick" Calfee and wife, Rosa of Oak Ridge; daughter, Vicki Calfee Caldwell and husband, Richard of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Sidnee, Lisa and Grason Caldwell, Joe Calfee, John and Julie Calfee, Jessica and Danny Finstad; great grandchilden, Matthew and LilliAnn Finstad; brother, Sandy Calfee of Newport; sisters, Polly Fowler of Utah, Kathleen Talley of Morristown and Carrie Freeman of Johnson City. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006 at Point Pleasant Cemetery with Reverend Ned Ramsey officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine with Masonic services following by Leadvale Lodge # 390 F. & A.M.
