Private interment will be in Memory Gardens Memorial Park. Mrs. Minger, 82, of Central Point, died Wednesday (May 24, 2000) at her home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Bible Church, 500 N. 10th St., Central Point, OR 97502. She was born Erma Rhodes on Aug. 20, 1917, in Philadelphia, Mo. On Oct. 26, 1943, in Reno, Nev., she married Alton L. Minger, who died in 1987. She moved to the Rogue Valley from Missouri in 1946. Mrs. Minger was a charter member of Community Bible Church. She was a volunteer at the church and at the Central Point Senior Center. She enjoyed needlepoint, stitchery and gardening. Survivors include a son, Alton L. Jr., Central Point; two daughters, Alice Ewing, Klamath Falls and Naomi Miller, Foster, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
