Adams-Ferrell engagement Brittany LaChele Adams, daughter of Wayne and Rhonda Adams, of Walland, is engaged to marry Cory Robert Ferrell, son of Larry and Carolyn Ferrell, of Jackson, at 5:30 p.m. July 7 at Oak View Baptist Church, Walland. Friends and relatives are invited, and invitations have been sent. The future bride is the granddaughter of Oliver Jr. and Sue Williams, of Walland, and Edward and Dorothy Adams, of Walland. She is the great-granddaughter of Myrtle Ledbetter, of Maryville. The future bridegroom is the grandson of Robert Sr. and Elizabeth Borrow, of Fulton, N.Y., Margaret Ferrell, of Johnson City, and the late John Ferrell. The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She is currently working on a master’s degree in therapeutic recreation at the University of Tennessee. The bridegroom-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College with a bachelor’s degree in business and finance. He works as a financial consultant for the Tennessee Valley Authority.
