He was preceded in death by his parents, Garfield and Eula Ramsey; sisters, Beulah Shoemaker, Ina Mae Mason, and Mary Holt; brother, Herbert Ramsey; and nephews, Rick and Jay Russell. He is survived by his very special friend, Margie Lee, of Newport; daughter and son-in-law, Leticia and David O’Dell, of Newport; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Lloyd Green, of Newport; Barbara and Hugh Russell, of Newport; Christine Mason, of Newport; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Mary Ramsey, of Newport, and George Buck and Beulah Ramsey, of Newport; special friends, Paul Williams and John Dale Ramsey, of Newport; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ned Ramsey officiating. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Union Cemetery.
