H.S.Marshall, age 76 of Pigeon Forge died Dec. 24, 1937. Funeral service at the Pigeon Forge Baptist Church Sunday Dec. 26. Rev. Ed Watson officiating.
Pallbearers” Robert & John Seaton, Sanford Marshall, Ben Marshall, and Hubert Marshall and John Caton.
Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Martha Jane Marshall, 8 sons, Prof. R.L., V.E., Ernest D., Prof Frank, Sam M. and Wallace M. 1 daughter, Mrs. Oscar Shelley. One daughter died in infancy.
Sisters: Mrs. Maggie Robertson, Mrs. Martha Wallace, Mrs. Mark Fox, Mrs. Jemima Seaton, and Mrs. Neppie Breeden; one brother, Rev. R.M. Marshall.
H.S. Marshall was born Nov. 3, 1867. He was united in marriage Dec. 1889 to Martha Jane Walker.
