(May 5, 1940 - March 21, 2011) Jesse Stuart, age 70, of Parrottsville, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011, surrounded by his family when he went to be in the arms of Jesus. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Estel and Nervie Stuart; brothers, Haskell, Winford and Andrew; and one sister Betty Joyce. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Polly Sue Stuart; sons and daughter-in-law, Doyle Webb, Randall Stuart and Chris and Beth Stuart, all of Parrottsville; daughter, and son-in-law, Regina and Stanley Green of Parrottsville. Jesse had seven grandchildren; three step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren., and seven step-great-grandchildren whom he loved; brothers, Donald Stuart and wife Linda of South Carolina, Jimmy Stuart of Newport; sister, Reba Crawley of Newport; two sisters-in-law, Stella Freshour of Parrottsville, and Jean Coggins and husband Tim of Cosby; brother-in-law, Billy Campbell and wife Yvonne of Newport; two special nieces, Helen Cutshaw and Pat Connard of Greeneville. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm -8:00 pm Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Manes Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, March 24, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Danny Sutton and Eric Freshour officiating. Interment will follow in Ray’s Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Green, Jeff Dunn, Lonnie Ray Cash, Bobby Dale Freshour, Ray Stuart and John Stuart; honorary pallbearer will be Gary Cutshaw.
