(September 3, 1969 - January 23, 2014) Scottie (Swampcat) Lee Ellison, age 44, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014, at his home in Cosby, after a lengthy illness. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.V. and Annette Ellison; grandparents, Homer and Bessie Ellison, Arlene Streblo and Allen Lunsford; uncle, Ronald Ellison; and cousins Jodi Green Messer and Dan and Dusty Gray. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Ellison; daughter Gabbi and Peyton Ellison; son Keenan Ellison Ellison; brothers, Tony and Ricky Ellison; sister, Terri Ellison all of Cosby; nieces and nephews, Jaime, Kendoyle and Charlie of Newport; grandmother Jonita Lunsford, aunts and uncles, Julie Lane, Edna and Jimmy Green, Annalee Gray, Essie Gentry, Brenda Ellison, Sharon Williams, Allie Foster,and Don Ellison and a host of cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Sunday with funeral services following at 2:00 pm in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Willie Winters officiating. Burial will follow in the Gray Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chase Atkins, Pedro Gudger, Tas Coleman,David Coleman, Ronnie Campbell and Ike Ford.
