Imogene Hope Gray, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at her home in Sevierville after a short illness. Mrs. Gray was born on August 6, 1934 in Sevier County, Tennessee. She was the youngest of five children.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lawson and Lee Guffey, much loved grandson, Joshua Floyd, sisters, Ida Mae King and husband Fred, Helen Ellison and husband Paul, brothers Howard Guffey and Harold Guffey, all of Sevier County Tennessee.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her much loved and faithful care giver for over 50 years, husband Wayne, and loving daughters Doris and husband Jerry Floyd and Barbara McCarter and husband Bob, of Sevierville. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives and many friends. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Her life was doing for her family, friends, and others and was voted as an UnSung Hero of Sevier County. Helping those who were in need is what made her the special person she was. Her smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank hospice caregivers Carolyn Wear and Florence Hayden for their tender care, and a special thank you to Glenda McCarter for her many hours of loving care she gave.
