Jacob (Jake) Queener, 77, of Maryville, went to be with our Lord at 10:50 a.m. on June 26, 2012, at his home. He was a member of Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, Verton and Evelyn Norton Queener; and brother, George Queener. Survivors include wife of 58 years, Martha Stephens Queener; daughter and son-in-law, Lei and Jeff Williams; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Shawnee and Todd Neil, and Electra and Tommy Young. Family and friends will meet 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Grandview Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. James Cooper and Rev. Kenneth Tucker officiating.
