FAIN, ANNA JANE BROWN - age 78, of Knoxville, Tenn., passed away Monday, June 3, 2002, at Brakebill Nursing Home. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. She was retired from the Knoxville School System, where she taught at Beardsley Jr. High and Knoxville College. She was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Brown; husband, Theodoric (Ted) Fain, and sisters, Edith and Louise. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Mark (Wynn) Fain, Adkins (Matricia) Wilson; sister, Mildred ( Lennis ) Coleman ; mother-in-law, Irma Gear Fain; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Robert Jr. (Irene) Fain, William (Leodis) Fain, Nathan (Irene) Fain and Lawrence Whiteside; granddaughters, Markeisha Prater, Reynecia Jones; grandsons, Lee, Alan, and Matthew Cutshaw, Reggie, and Shawn Brown; niece, Shelia Denton Coleman and Yvette Coleman , and a host of other devoted relatives and friends. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Omega Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2002 at Unity Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 10, 2002, from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 11:30 a.m., Reverend Dr. Johnnie W. Skinner, officiating. Interment, Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Unity Mortuary.
