Frank William Bohanan, 70 of Sevierville went to his heavenly reward Thursday, November 13, 2003. Frank began his glorious journey at his residence by quietly going to sleep and waking up in his heavenly home.
He was a member of the Northview Church of God and used his guitar as his Bible to bless others with music.
Waiting for a reunion with Frank were his father, Decator Bohanan; granddaughter, Christina Parrott; grandson, Stevie Rayfield and sister Laura Ogle.
Leaving behind to celebrate his homecoming, but saddened by their loss is his mother Isabelle Gibson Bohanan; his loving wife of 51 years, Ina Ruth Boling Bohanan; son, Junior Bohanan and Marcy Hersh; daughters, Patsy Rayfield, Linda Tipton and husband Richard, Sandra Campbell and husband Gary; grandchildren, Lisa Sutton and husband Kenny, Frankie Parrott and wife Rachel, Travis Bohanan and wife Becky, Whisper Rayfield; great grandchildren, Christian Sutton, Victoria Sutton, Chase Bohanan, Michael Brady; sister Louise Branch; brother, Clayton Bohanan and wife Brenda; brother-in-law, Roy Ogle. Besides the immediate family Frank will be missed by many nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends whose lives he has touched on his stay on earth.
Service will be 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15, 2003 at Rawlings Funeral Chapel with Rev. A.V. King, Rev. Ed Collins and Rev. Barney Butler officiating. Interment will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16 at Middle Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15 at Rawlings Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the family or the funeral home.
