BOLES , EDWARD NELSON age 80 of South Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2011 at his residence. He was of the Christian faith and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in the Korean War. He was a retired employee of Flav-O-Rich and loved University of Tennessee sports, music and being with his family and special granddaughter, Audriana Kiara. Preceded in death by his aunt, Ethel Collier; parents, Mary Katherine and Bud Boles ; mother-in-law, Eva Phillips; cousin, David Romines. He is survived by his wife, Sara Jane Boles of the home; children, Kimberly Boles and fiancé Eric Reed, Tiffany, Katherine, Cindy, Bruce, Robbie and Alan Boles ; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald and Donald Boles ; cousin, Ernie and Johnny Murphy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Hazel Phillips; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pat and Sid Albright, Carol and James Rollow and Linda and Bob Ausmus; brothers-in-law, Marvin and Elmer Phillips; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 1:30 p.m. interment service. Online condolences may be extended at www.rosemortuary.com.
