Stooksbury, age 88 of Andersonville, passed away May 26, 2013 at home. He was a faithful member of several churches during his lifetime, an army veteran of WWII, and a career boilermaker and farmer. He was a loving husband and father. Preceded in death by wife, Audrey Stooksbury, son, Neal Stooksbury, parents, John Rufus and Lula Bolinger Stooksbury, sister, Willie Jackson, and brothers, Luther, Worley, and Eli. Survived by children: Stanley Stooksbury and wife Cindi, Myles Stooksbury, Karen Bumgardner and husband James, Sheila Allen and husband Richard, Holly Stooksbury, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren. Service will be 7pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel, Rev. Steve Foster officiating. Interment will be 11am Thursday at Red Hill Baptist Church. Family will receive friends 5-7pm Wednesday Mynatt Funeral Home Halls Chapel.
