Goodin, Geraldine F.-(85) went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 18, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who devoted her life to her family. Her children were blessed by the legacy of her gentle spirit, positive outlook and endless strength and courage. Preceded in death by husband, Clarence, and son, Scott Goodin; son-in-law, Larry, and granddaughter, Sheila Silvers; parents, Augusta (Rule), and Arnold Farmer, and 3 siblings. Survived by daughters, Linda Silvers, Diane (John) Stobierski, Judy (Wyn) Bryant, and son, Mike (Judy) Goodin; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Irene Dunlap of Maryville, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Knoxville, P.O. Box 27478, Knoxville, Tennessee 37927. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Family and friends will meet on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Wyn Bryant officiating. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
