Wheeler, Betty Lou Manes Widener – age 64 passed away on April 29, 2012. She will be remembered for her sparkling eyes, and her winning and contagious smile. She was preceded in death by her parents, Newman Clarence Manes and Pauline Joesphine Manes. She is survived by her husband, Joe Wheeler; her son, Daniel Widener; daughter, Debbie Colson and husband Renick; granddaughter, Jessica Loveday and husband Dewey ;grandson, Cody Carringer and fiancé Jori Winkle; special great-granddaughter, Mandolyn Moon Carringer ; brother, Bill Manes; sister, Doris Mason and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Wheelers name to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 2nd from 5 until 7 pm at Valley Grove Baptist Church, with a funeral service beginning at 7pm, graveside services will be held Thursday March 3rd, at Highland South Memorial Park at 11 am. Highland South Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
