Myzella Mae Simpson, 88 of Kingsport passed away on Tuesday June 28, 2011 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Myzella was a member of Depews Chapel Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Sally Bishop Edwards; guardians, Reese and Laura Bishop; husband, Noah Dave Simpson; and an infant son. She is survived by her daughters, Geneva Lawson (Grady) of Kingsport, Rita Nichols of Kingsport, Linda Simpson of Mt.Carmel and Melissa Lawson (Eddie) of Kingsport; her son, Junior Simpson (Penny Adkins) of Mt. Carmel; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Diane and Frankie. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm on Friday July 1, 2011 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Keith Smith officiating. Graveside services will be held 2 pm on Saturday July 2, 2011 at Bowser Cemetery, Church Hill, TN. Family and friends who wish to attend are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:45 pm to go in procession. Pallbearers are Rodney Adkins, Wayne Adkins, Eddie Lawson, Johnathon Stidham, Steve Childers, Travis Ramey and Kevin Lawson. Memorials may be made to C/O Simpson family P.O.
