Berrys’ 50th Melvin and Ruth (Dalluge) Berry, of Maryville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 8 at the home of Robert and Theresa Denny. The gathering was hosted by Mrs. Berry’s sisters, Theresa Denny and Anita Smith. The couple were married April 9, 1962, in Coeur-d’Alene, Idaho. Their family includes children James Berry, of South Carolina, Gene Berry, of North Carolina, Michelle Addington, of Maryville, and Kristina Hagy, of Maryville. They have seven grandchildren. Mr. Berry is retired from the 134th Air Refueling Wing, Tennessee Air National Guard. Mrs. Berry is a retired Blount County school teacher. They enjoy gardening, their grandchildren, photography and traveling.
