CONSTANT , CHARLES EUGENE - age 69, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, March 6 at Parkwest Hospital. A native of Louisville, Ky., Mr. Constant was retired from T&F Construction. He was a member of Ball Camp Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. and Grace Proffitt Constant and a brother, Sherrill Constant . Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Louise Williams Constant ; 2 daughters, Cathy Ann Constant andTerri Robinson. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Roy and Howard Constant and Irene Keesling and Jeanette Wright; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Ron Schumann, and Dr. Don Olive officiating. Interment services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Highland Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Harding, Gene Ward, Ray Tiller, Ernie Jennings, Richard Mathes, and Horace Haynes. The family will receive friends 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave. 865-588-3868.
