Mrs. Nina Fine Banks, 44, of Newport, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2006, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Georgie Mae Fine; brothers, Arlie Fine and Carl Fine; sister, Ella Sutton; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doc and Illa Banks. Survivors include her husband, Rusty Banks, of the home; sons, Scottie and Justin Banks, of Newport; sisters and brothers-in-law, Eula and Billy Holt, of Newport, and Patti and Jeff Bergerom, of Phoenix, Arizona; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Laurie Fine, of Sevierville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cheryl and Junior Wilson, of Cosby; Brenda Banks, of Newport; Patsy and Lynn Phillips, of Jefferson City; Delfene and Buster Cate, of Dandridge; Gary and Tammy Banks and Darrell and Misty Banks, all of Newport. Additional survivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Raines officiating. Interment will follow in Spence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, prior to the service at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home.
